In our final Behind the Scenes episode from the "Chocolate Rock" music video set, we have set up camp at our final location.  This scene was shot in one of the oldest building on the University of Colorado campus - Old Main.

We were fortunate to have several students from the CU Film School helping us out on the shoot.  They all did a terrific job, and kept a very positive attitude over the course of some long hours in cold temps.  Thanks guys!  We also were able to involve several students from the CU Theatre department, in various roles in the video.  They were all great to work with and truly enjoyable to have on set.

Last but not least, we want to thank all of the key people that donated their time on this shoot - Bryan, Chad, Ashley, Stig, and Joe.  Stay tuned for still photos from the shoot, courtesy of Chad Moore.

This video shows just a small portion of everything that was going on in this location.  Yes, I am on the phone every time you see me in this clip...I did switch phones at one point though!  Enjoy this last behind the scenes video, and stay tuned for the release of the "Chocolate Rock" music video!

Our fourth Behind the Scenes video from the "Chocolate Rock" music video shoot finds us in beautiful downtown Boulder, CO.  The music video will be released soon, but in the meantime, check out some of the off camera antics.

In our third installment of our Behind the Scenes posts from the video shoot, we have moved on to shooting day #2...on a whopping 1 1/2 hours of sleep!  As we mentioned in the previous posts, we are about to release the video for "Chocolate Rock", but wanted to show everyone what was happening when the camera wasn't rolling.

Day 2 started with a shoot at a coffee shop, thank god! (Don't think for a second that I didn't plan it that way)  Joe's Espresso in Boulder was not only kind enough to allow us to shoot at their fine establishment, but they also hooked us all up with coffee for the whole weekend!  We definitely would not have made it through without that.  Thanks guys!!  Check out the early morning fun with our "french" DP...

Welcome to the second installment of our Behind the Scenes posts from the video shoot.  As we mentioned in the last post, we are about to release the video for "Chocolate Rock", but wanted to share some of the debauchery from the video shoot itself.

In this behind the scenes clip, we are shooting in a cafe in downtown Denver.  Tage (from Silver Halide) and I used to work at this cafe, and want to thank them for allowing us to shoot there...well into the night/morning.  If you're ever in Denver - stop by Cafe Colore in Writers Square on the corner of 15th and Larimer - amazing Italian food!  We would also like to thank everyone for sticking around til the end - it was a very late night, and we appreciate you all sticking it out.  At this point of the shoot, we were running over 2 hours behind schedule, and ended up wrapping our first night's shoot at 4:45am.  So if I appear tired in this video, that's why...

It has been a month since my last update - yikes!  It's been a bit of a hectic month, to say the least.  We've been working on finalizing everything with the video for "Chocolate Rock" with Silver Halide Pictures, and are almost set to release it!  Before we let you see the finished product, we're going to post a series of Behind the Scenes videos from the shoot.  Things can be pretty interesting when you're shooting all hours of the day/nigh (on little to no sleep)t, in freezing cold temps in Colorado in February, and working with a bunch of smart asses.

This first video is from probably the coldest location of the whole shoot - shooting a car chase scene in an alley in Denver.  We had a couple of generators going, several good sized lights, and squealing brakes on the car (repeatedly)...and we didn't even get hassled by any of the neighbors.  Boring, I know.  We want to thank Jeremiah Hueske for allowing us to use his '67 Mustang for this portion of the shoot!  Anyway, enjoy this first behind the scenes look, and check back for more shortly!
