Behind the Scenes

We recently shot the video for "Chocolate Rock" by Tage Plantell.  Tage is the mastermind behind Silver Halide Pictures, so he was playing a variety of roles in this video - director, camera man (at times), actor, and musician.  I only had two jobs - producer and actor.  One of the things we will be doing for all upcoming video shoots is shooting behind the scenes.  There are a lot of random, funny things that happen during a shoot, and it's a great way to show fans some of the antics that happen.  Not to mention the behind the scenes videos allow bands to build up hype about the release of their music video.  The biggest thing this accomplishes is giving fans that "backstage" sort of access to what your band is up to. 

Below are the series of 5 BTS videos that we produced from this shoot.  These are all fairly short, so they could be release over the period of a couple weeks to keep building that video anticipation for fans.  See what you think, and drop us a line if this looks like something that your band might be interested in!

Andy Juan Video "Another Lonely Hero"

Porch Light Music co-produced the Andy Juan video for "Another Lonely Hero" with Silver Halide Pictures.  Done on a shoestring budget and shot on one of the coldest days in January, the end product turned out quite well.  The video was shot, edited, and released at a special video premiere event in two weeks.  Check it out here, and stay tuned for more very soon!
